Africa Trust Networks (ATN), is a not-for-profit organisation which invites volunteers to stay with host families in their projects. Africatrust is different from many other volunteer work organisation in Africa in that Africatrust has an obligatory post arrival in-country induction course covering language, culture, music, history/politics and general knowledge. The concept of having "A Bridge" linking cultures is still fundamental to the programme. In partnership with TACCO, ATN is contributing towards the projects through it's volunteer placement program.

Our largest donor of books and computer equipment, Kempshott Junior School (Nr Basingstoke - UK) continues to play a major role in helping TACCO with the Library and Computer projects. Our relationship with Kempshott Junior school begun in early 2003 when two teachers, Ms. Becca Brant and Mrs. Nina Reeves volunteered to travel to Ghana (August 2003) to help with the setting up of the children's library in Jachie village.
Prior to the trip, there was a very active exercise of donations of books, puzzles and educational toys, organised by Mrs. Gail Cheers - Asst. Head Teacher- who introduced TACCO to the school, in the first place.
David Boateng (UK Director - TACCO), visited the school on several occasions to give talks to the children about TACCO projects and answer questions about the culture and in particular, the lives of children in Ghana.
The pupils at Kempshott Junior have since taken a keen interest in TACCO and have regularly organised fundraising events to raise money towards projects like the computer centre and the building of a new Crèche in Jachie. TACCO has been issuing certificates to the pupils as a sign of appreciation for their great contribution.
Some children in Jachie who have been using the library on a regular basis started corresponding with the pupils at Kempshott as pen pals. This event has so far been very successful and it is hoped that the friendships being formed now would continue well into the future.
